1923 – Disney Destiny – First Night Dinner

1923 aboard the Disney Destiny is a stylish nod to the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, blending old Hollywood elegance with Disney storytelling. Split into themed dining rooms honoring Walt Disney and Roy Disney, the space is filled with animation sketches and behind-the-scenes artwork that bring Disney history to life.

The menu features California-inspired cuisine with global influences, offering everything from fresh seafood to perfectly cooked steaks. As part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining, your serving team stays with you throughout your cruise, adding a personal touch to every meal.

A little nostalgic, a little luxurious, and completely Disney, 1923 turns dinner into a story worth savoring.

We dined here on our First Night, lunch on our first Day at sea, and our Fourth night aboard the Disney Destiny. Let’s take a deeper dive into everything offered on our First Night at 1923.

Appetizers, Soups, and Salads

Split Napa Baby Romaine Lettuce – Tasty! The Caesar Dressing had a nice flavor that brought out the Parmigiano-Reggiano

Hyperion Four-Cheese Tri-Color Tortelloni – FAVORITE! We have had this prior on the Disney Wish. We love this so much, we ordered two orders of this. It overall has a solid flavor and taste in every bite.

Pulled Guinea Hen Corn Chowder –

Entrees

Riveside Roasted Green Circle Chicken – We think the chicken was good, very flavorful, and moist. We do wish this was more Brussels sprouts for the side!

Buena Vista Soft Shell Tacos –

1923 Peppered Filet Mignon – Very good! The meat was cooked to order, and our server checked it before leaving the table. The Crushed Fingerling Potato Hash is another favorite side of ours.

Roasted Breast of Chicken – The chicken was cooked to perfection and very moist. We did ask for a Baked Potato as a side, as we were not crazy about the Lemon – Sumac Red Quinoa Tabbouleh.

Desserts

We had a Birthday at our table, and they surprised them with this little chocolate cake with a candy candle. They really enjoyed this surprise dessert.

Hollywood Hills Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae – It’s your typical sundae, the perfect amount of vanilla ice cream and Chocolate Fudge

Churros Calientes – If you love the churros from the Disney Parks, then you will love these Churros! The Dulce de Leche sauce for dipping is absolute perfection.

Atwater Fuji Apple Cheesecake – This was very rich and moist. Highly recommend!
