Walt Disney World 50th Aniversary Entrance Makeover

Walt Disney World has announced the long-awaited makeover of its classic entrances, which will receive the all-new look for the resort’s 50th anniversary!

Concept art has been released for the newly reimagined entrances, which will mark the removal of the Cinderella Castle cloud design and “Where Dreams Come True” tagline, which was added for the Year of a Million Dreams in 2006.

The following Signs will see this new makeover soon:

  • World Drive
  • World Center Drive
  • Western Way
  • Osceola Parkway
  • Hotel Plaza Boulevard (bookend signs, no archway)

Let’s take a closer look at the new sign. First, we notice the red-lettered logo will now be replaced with crisp white letters. In addition to iridescent rose gold flags much like the colors we’re now seeing added to the Magic Kingdom toll plaza—to match the new color scheme of Cinderella Castle. The “Where Dreams Come True” tagline will be replaced with “The Most Magical Place on Earth” along with a gold banner.
