Every day at 5:00 pm at the front of Main Street USA a random veteran is selected from the day’s guset to take part in the lowering of the flag.
For the person selected, they receive a certificate, a photo taken at the event, and a pin. It is well worth it to take the time out of your day to watch!

“Say the pledge of allegiance and hear the trumpet fanfare sound Retreat in this daily tradition. Watch as the American flag is lowered while the
Members of the Color Guard remove the flag from the staff and fold it while Guests are led in a chorus of “God Bless America.” Then, a special Guest veteran is handed the flag, followed by a short procession down Main Street, U.S.A.
The ceremony is a tribute—a thank you to veterans for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to protecting our country.”
